Itinerary

  1. MON I CAIRO

    Arrive in the Land of the Pharaohs. Upon completion of immigration and customs formalities at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and escorted to your hotel. This evening experience an optional sound and light show at the Pyramids of Giza.

  2. TUE I CAIRO

    Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before heading out to explore the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, featuring the world’s largest collection of Pharaonic artifacts and the treasures of Tutankhamen’s tomb. Then drive to Old Cairo, where early Judaism and Christianity flourished in Egypt. Visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, Saint Sergius Church, and the Al Moallaka Church (Hanging Church). In the afternoon, a scenic drive will take you to explore the Pyramids & Sphinx of Giza, which have stood for the last 5000 years. (B,L)

  3. WED I CAIRO I ASWAN

    After breakfast, transfer from your hotel to Cairo International Airport for your morning flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, you will visit the High Dam, the Granite Alexandria Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Temple of Isis at Philae. Sail on board a felucca, a traditional Egyptian sailboat, and view Kitchener’s Island Botanical Garden and the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Overnight in Aswan. (B,D)

  4. THU I ASWAN I LUXOR

    Rise and shine with breakfast at your hotel and then head out to Luxor via car. Upon arrival into Luxor, you will visit the temple complexes of Karnak and Luxor, a centuries old city of pylons, hypostyle halls, colossal statues, shrines, and obelisks. Overnight in Luxor. (B,D)

  5. FRI I LUXOR

    Power up this morning with a full breakfast at your hotel and get ready to be amazed. Today you will have the opportunity to delve into the West Bank necropolis on a professionally guided tour to discover the Valley of the Kings, the Funerary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Enjoy an optional sound and light show at the Karnak Temple complex this evening. (B,D)

  6. SAT I LUXOR I HURGHADA

    After breakfast, head out to Hurghada via chauffeured car. Along the way, visit Ace Animal Care, a charity dedicated to helping animals in the poorest communities of Luxor by providing education to locals and free veterinary care. Upon arrival into Hurghada, you will be transferred to your all-inclusive resort hotel where you can soak up the glittering sun and bask in the glorious views of the Red Sea. (B,L,D)

  7. SUN I HURGHADA

    Have breakfast at your hotel and get ready to enjoy Hurghada at your own pace with a full day at leisure to relax, explore the city on your own, or participate in an optional excursion. (B,L,D)

  8. MON I HURGHADA

    Your time in Hurghada continues today with another splendid day at leisure. This evening, see the amazing 1,001 Nights Show also known as Alf Leila Wa Leila. This show is a celebration of Egyptian culture, color, and dance with a variety of entertainment and dinner theater performances. Serving local food and drink, the many performances tell the history and folklore of Egypt through live music, a sound and light show, belly dancing, and a pharaonic horse show that includes acrobatics and horsemanship. Each performance shares a glimpse into this fascinating country, from the history of ancient Egypt and its pharaohs, and the tribal history of the Bedouins, to the customs and traditions of the many regions of Egypt.   9. TUE I HURGHADA I CAIRO

    After breakfast, transfer to Hurghada Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be transferred to your hotel. (B)
